- 2008-04-28 - Product - Audemat to showcase RELIO with SCRIPTEASY V2 at NAB 2008
- Bordeaux-Mérignac, France – Wednesday, April 02, 2008, AUDEMAT (www.audemat.com) announced that they are Showcasing at NAB2008 on their booth N7932 the NEW RELIO and SCRIPTEASY V2. The RELIO is a 1U enclosure facility management unit that provides 64 digital inputs, 64 digital outputs and 24 analog inputs, 4 serial ports (RS232, RS422 and RS485), 2 Ethernet ports, 4 USB ports and 1 phone line connector. It is now delivered with new SCRIPTEASY V2 graphical software that includes the all new MASTERVIEW viewer. MASTERVIEW is a graphic user interface that allows fast and flexible creation of multiple “views” where users can see information from and control remote equipment over a network connection. Simply drag and drop I/O data and logic functions to generate monitoring and control scripts. Also new at NAB 2008 the voice DTMF interface with an included library of over 700 words and the capability to upload user created voice files. “When we saw what Audemat and SCRIPTEASY could do, we know it was the right software for our RELIO project. A group of our best engineers worked with Audemat through the whole process, so we know we’ll have all the features that broadcasters need.” States Mike Gideon, VP Electronic Design for Clear Channel - in charge of the Coordination of the RELIO project at Clear Channel. This product was designed in cooperation with Clear Channel. 400 units are going to be installed on the field.

- Audemat seeks to expand its presence in the Middle East.
Audemat announced today that they will be present at CABSAT 2008 in Dubai - March 4-6, 2008. Guillaume Boutin, Area manager, along with Dominique Poissonnier, Technical Support Manager with Nortek will be present and will showcase Radio and TV equipment from the AUDEMAT group (Audemat, Ecreso and Nortek).
Although it is the first time Audemat has attended this convention in Dubai, Audemat has been a presence in the Middle East since 1996. The Audemat group sold a large number of NORTEK DVB T2005 monitors to the leading systems integrator Saudi Technical Engineering Systems Associated (STESA) www.stesa.com. These units were installed in the main cities of Saudia Arabia. “The performance of the NORTEK DVB-T monitoring receivers is highly reliable and satisfactory in the field. We have planed to purchase more receivers in the future” States M.L Sonpal Project manager for STESA. In fact, deployment of the additional units (about 30 more units) is scheduled for this year to expand the monitoring coverage of the country.

Audemat announced that they have decided to officially change their name from Audemat-Aztec to Audemat to ease their communication. Audemat has grown rapidly (25% growth average over the last 10 years) 8.9M Euros ($13M) in 2006 to 15.34M Euros ($22.39M) in 2007 for the whole group. With the recent acquisitions, Audemat now owns two companies Ecreso (TV and FM transmitter Manufacturer) and Nortek (TV monitoring and Test and Measurement equipment manufacturer). “It seemed simpler to use Audemat instead of Audemat-Aztec now” States Bruno Rost, President of the Audemat Group. “It is like a return to old times when we were called Audemat, before the acquisition of Aztec” adds Rost. The new Audemat logo will slowly replace the old Audemat-Aztec logo over a period of one year, on marketing materials, product front panels, technical manuals etc… Audemat also has a new domain, audemat.com.

Audemat-Aztec attends the TV show with their local Russian dealer
Bordeaux-Mérignac, France – Friday, January 25, 2008, Audemat (www.audemat.com) announced today that they will be present at the CSTB show in Moscow, Russia http://cstb.ru/ - February, 4-7 2008, at the booth of their local dealer Universal Communication - booths # 118 hall 1 and 221 hall 2. Jean-Baptiste Roux, VP Sales with Audemat as well as Dominique Poissonnier, Technical Support Manager with Nortek will be present. The AUDEMAT group (www.audemat.com) announced today the buyout of NORTEK (www.nortek-tv.com). The AUDEMAT group has developed rapidly over the past few years (25% growth average over the last 10 years) and decided to accelerate this expansion in digital TV by purchasing NORTEK (www.nortek-tv.com). “Our growth relies mainly on innovation developed by our R&D teams. The emergence of new digital technologies in the world means we must offer a wider and more effective product line to our customers. TV on mobile phones won’t wait for us!” stated Bruno Rost, CEO of the AUDEMAT Group. “The purchase of NORTEK, recognized industry wide for analog and digital TV products in the French domestic market, was the ideal partner to advance the development of future products” adds Rost. NORTEK company managers are also excited about the signature of the contract: “We are certain that we have found in AUDEMAT the management discipline and technological abilities that will allow us to successfully address markets in Digital TV, TNT and TV over cell phones. - Bordeaux-Mérignac France - Thursday, January 10, 2008, the AUDEMAT group (www.audemat.com) announced today that they are opening an office in Beijing, China to coordinate sales actions for the Chinese market. This office will be operated by Mrs Xuan LUO who will offer local sales assistance to existing clients, distributors and integrators of Audemat products. The local dealer network will remain identical; it will be managed, motivated and assisted by this local presence. Mrs Xuan LUO will help coordinate with the home office for local trade shows; road shows with products, loans, and delivery time etc…Soon Audemat brochures, web site, software will be available in Chinese. Technical support and sales logistics will continue from France with the language assistance of Mrs Xuan LUO. But in a few months the AUDEMAT group plans to hire a technician to provide local technical support and assistance. “This local presence will allow the AUDEMAT group to be more responsive to the existing Chinese demand” States Jean-Baptiste Roux VP of Sales for the Audemat Group. “We’ll also get a better understanding of specific Chinese technical requirements for new technologies for digital TV such as DMB-TH, CMMB ….etc…).” adds Roux.
