- My installation portal is blank, what should I do?
- When downloading the application from the embedded web site, an installation page should open similar to the Digiplexer 2/4 installation portal below:
In some cases, the Windows Firewall may block the content and you may see a blank page instead. It means the security level is too high. You will need to lower it in order to complete the installation.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Navigate to the “Tools” menu and click on “Internet Options”.
- Activate the “Security” tab.
- Select the “Local intranet” zone.
- Lower the security level to “Low”.
- Apply and close the window.
- Close Internet Explorer and start it again for the changes to take effect.
- Start your installation again.
- When the installation portal opens, you will see the following window:

- “Unblock” to view the page correctly and pursue the installation process.
- You may change the security level with Internet Explorer.
- Where do I get the application software for my equipment?
- On the 'Download' page of the embedded website. Simply download and install it on your computer.
- What is the processing delay of the Digiplexer 2/4 and Digiplexer 246?
- The processing delay for each output is given in the menu SETUP / SOUND PROCESSING of the sound processing application.
This delay is non audible: even into the 4-band version, it is typically under 6ms.
- Can factory presets be modified and overwritten causing loss of preset?
- No. You will never lose any preset:
- Factory presets are always available from the menu NEW PRESET of the sound processing application
- You can also Export your preset as a file and save it on your PC by clicking on Preset / Export.
- How to set the input levels?
- From the menu SETUP / INPUT / INPUT LEVEL of the sound processing application, you can adjust the input level for each audio source. For example, if your maximum analog peak level is 12 dBu, you must configure the Analog Reference level at 12 dBu. As a result the AGC IN vumeter will show audio peaks at 0 dBfs.
- Even in case of Silence, the backup doesn’t start.
- Double check the parameters configured in the menu SETUP / INPUT of the sound processing application:
- The “mode” must be configured to BACKUP
- The threshold may be to low. We recommend to set this parameter to -45 dB for good silence detection.
- Don’t forget to also configure the needed time to wake up and to fall asleep. You can also add a fade in and fade out for better results.
